Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 April 2026
These terms apply when you book a safari or tour package through Tadoba Pench Safari Co. ("we", "us"). By confirming a booking you agree to them.
1. Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment (typically 30% of the total) and send you a written confirmation by email. Inquiries, quotes, and WhatsApp messages alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.
2. Payment
- Advance: 30% of the package cost due within 48 hours of confirmation to secure permits.
- Balance: Due 30 days before arrival — or at the time of booking if arrival is within 30 days.
- Mode: Direct bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS) or UPI to our business account. Payment details are shared individually on confirmation. We do not collect or store card details.
- GST: 5% GST is added to all tour services as per Indian tax law.
3. Cancellations and refunds
See our separate Cancellation Policy for the timeline-based refund schedule. Forest-department safari permits are non-refundable once issued, regardless of cancellation timing.
4. Forest-department rules
All safaris operate under the authority of the Maharashtra Forest Department (Tadoba) or Madhya Pradesh Forest Department (Pench). Guests must:
- Carry original government ID matching the permit.
- Arrive at the gate 30 minutes before the scheduled entry time.
- Follow all forest rules: no littering, no loud noises, no feeding or calling out to animals, no alighting from the jeep except at designated points.
- Comply with your naturalist and driver's instructions at all times.
Forest-rule violations can result in immediate safari termination with no refund, and may carry a fine under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
5. Tiger and wildlife sightings
We cannot guarantee tiger or any specific wildlife sighting. Our packages are priced for the safari experience — not for a guaranteed animal encounter. Sighting rates are statistical, not promises.
6. Health and insurance
You are responsible for your own health, fitness, and travel insurance. Inform us in advance of medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and mobility needs so we can advise on suitability. Safaris involve long drives on rough tracks — guests with severe back problems, late-term pregnancy, or heart conditions should consult a doctor before booking.
7. Force majeure
If a safari or part of your itinerary is cancelled due to circumstances outside our control — unseasonal forest closures, court orders, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or similar events — we'll offer a re-booking to a future date or a refund of the cancelled portion minus non-refundable permit and resort deposits. We are not liable for consequential losses (missed flights, hotel costs elsewhere).
8. Changes to itineraries
Routes, zones, and gate allocations inside the park are decided by the forest department on the day of the safari. If a zone is closed or changed, we will re-route within the same gate — no refund is due for zone substitutions.
9. Liability
We act as a tour operator and booking agent for forest-department safaris, resorts, and transport providers. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the package. We are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party providers (resorts, jeep drivers, airlines, railways) beyond using reasonable care in selecting them.
10. Photography and content
We may use photographs taken during safaris in our marketing, provided no individual guest is identifiable without written consent. If you would prefer not to appear in any marketing, please tell us before or during your trip.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
